DISEMINASI INFORMASI AKUN @ABOUTTNG DALAM PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN INFORMASI MASYARAKAT KABUPATEN TANGERANG

Abstract

This research is entitled Information Dissemination of the @abouttng account in meeting the information needs of the people of Tangerang Regency,  that occur in Tangerang Regency is the @abouttng account being the only account used by the people of Tangerang Regency as a medium for seeking information needs. However, this account has experienced a problem where this account was deleted by Instagram due to an error in disseminating information.  The purpose of this study was to determine the information dissemination process carried out by the @abouttng account and also to find out the information needed by the people of Tangerang Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with in-depth interview data collection techniques and also observation, data validity techniques using triangulation of sources, techniques and theories. The results showed that the information dissemination process went through several stages including seeking information, re-checking the information, and disseminating information. for the information needs needed by the people of Tangerang Regency, namely culinary, tourist, and daily information.
