ABSTRACT
This research is expected to be able to assist fish entrepreneurs in calculating the number of fish seeds, thus simplifying the process of calculating fish seeds, accelerating the process of calculating fish seeds and also hopefully helping the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in calculating fish seeds if one day there is a fish seed procurement project or plan. This research was conducted to test the fish fry counter using the proximity capacitive sensor Type E18 D50NK which is a distance sensor. In conducting this research, the type of research used was an experimental method by testing the count of fish seeds. The results of the test were the sensor was able to detect fish seeds with a sensor accuracy of 63.4%, with an error of 36.6%. This type of research was chosen because it was considered very suitable for the research appointed by the author so that the research focus was in accordance with the facts in the field.
