Abstract

Suspension bridge over the Progo River that connects Ngembik, Magelang City, and Bandongan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. The condition of the bridge looks weathered with rusty steel wires and a floor made of bamboo and wood boards.

The planning carried out on the pedestrian suspension bridge is based on references to the Planning and Implementation of Suspension Bridge Construction for Pedestrians which was then assisted by SAP 2000. The stages in the bridge planning were carried out by conducting bridge modeling, calculation analysis, clarification of structural analysis and working drawings.

The results of the research and analysis of calculations obtained that the length of the bridge span is 76 meters, the width of the bridge is 1.8 meters, the height of the bridge tower is 10 meters. The floor of the vehicle uses a 2.8 mm landing plate. Longitudinal girder using UNP 180.75.7, transverse girder using INP (220.98.8,1.12,2). The main cable uses a 60 steel sling (fy = 1500 Mpa), and the hanging cable uses a 5 mm x 30 mm x 6 mm strip plate. The tower (pylon) uses a steel profile of IWF 400.200.8.13, horizontal bars and diagonal bars use a UNP profile of 200.75.7.5. The deflection that occurs in the middle of the span is 0.041 m.
