Abstract

This study aims to determine the capacity thrasher waste of household scale. Materials tested in this study i.e waste mustard greens., cabbage, and banana leaves. Test reference used is ISO 7580 : 2010. The result using a prototype of a thrasher organic waste using motor power i.e 0.25 HP (186.4 watts) with 700 rpm. The machine uses twin blade so that the one minute able to trash of waste 1400 times. capacity prototype thrasher organic waste for mustard greens i.e. 59.07 kg/h, cabbage 55.46 kg/h, banana leaves 12.54 kg/h.
