Abstract


Dysgraphia is one of the groups of children with education special needs. Dysgraphia patients are children who have difficulty in writing or expressing thoughts and feelings into written form. Dysgraphia children can not construct words well and can not coordinate their fine motor (hand) to write. The most common cause is a neurological disorder, the disorder in the front left part of the brain that is associated with the ability to read and write. Children experience an imbalance between the ability to remember and muscle motion in writing letters and numbers. Teachers who do not understand the disorder dysgraphia,  often blaspheme child as a child stupid, lazy boy and bad boy. Dysgraphia children simply are not skilled writing has nothing to do with cognitive abilities. Perhaps he was a clever child. Therefore, teachers need to understand the symptoms of dysgraphia aspects, characteristics, and type of disgrafianya, then find the right strategy to help children dysgraphia in writing. Strategies that can be used by teachers is a pre-write strategy starters, tracing letters, write in block letters and cursive writing. With the right strategy, it is expected that children dysgraphia can write normally.
